During their mission, the team had the honor of meeting with key stakeholders, including Ethiopia’s outgoing Minister of Health, Lia Tadesse, and local cardiovascular and cardiac surgery experts. These engagements provided valuable opportunities to discuss the current challenges and opportunities in cardiovascular care delivery in Ethiopia. The team also expressed their commitment to working closely with the Ministry of Health in Ethiopia to address the devastating consequences of heart disease in the country.
