At INTIMA International LLC, our mission is to provide a sustainable comprehensive cardiovascular healthcare services to underserved regions, starting from Ethiopia and expanding to the rest of Africa.
We collaborate with local governmental and non-governmental organizations that share our mission, working together to bridge the gap in cardiovascular healthcare provision.
We envision a world that focuses on cardiovascular disease prevention, enhances heart health and yet aspires to guarantee a timely access to lifesaving treatments for all cardiovascular emergencies regardless of the patient’s socioeconomic background.
Born and raised in Ethiopia, Dr. Tesfaye Telila completed his advanced cardiovascular training in the USA and he is currently a practicing interventional cardiologist in the piedmont healthcare system in Atlanta Georgia.
He is ABIM board certified in Internal medicine, general cardiology, Interventional cardiology, Nuclear cardiology and Echocardiography.
He is a fellow of the American college of cardiology (ACC) and Society of Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions (SCAI). Inspired by passion to make a difference and his unique exposure to both healthcare systems of Ethiopia and USA, INTIMA International LLC was established in Georgia as an organization with a primary social mission.
Founded by individuals with a passion for making a difference, our organization also has a nonprofit wing called Heart Attack Ethiopia. This branch focuses on heart attack prevention and management, as well as raising funds to support the broader mission of INTIMA International LLC.
We believe that healthcare is a basic human right. Our social-based business model ensures that everyone in need receives life-saving emergency services, and any profit made is reinvested to expand our programs and footprints.
